Good Evening Tamarack Shores,
One of the valued amenities offered by the Tamarack Shores Property Owners Association is our community pool. Property owners who choose to purchase a pool access card have the opportunity to enjoy this recreational facility with their eligible guests throughout the swimming season. Keeping the pool clean, healthy, and safe is a shared responsibility that benefits everyone who uses it.
As part of the Association’s ongoing commitment to maintaining our community amenities, the pool recently received an additional cleaning and sanitizing beyond its regular maintenance schedule. Routine testing, balancing of water chemistry, and periodic deep cleaning are all part of the Board’s efforts to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone.
While our maintenance team works hard behind the scenes, every pool user plays an important role in protecting the quality of the water.
How You Can Help
💧 Shower before entering the pool.
A quick rinse removes body oils, lotions, sunscreen, cosmetics, perspiration, and other substances that make it harder for the pool chemicals to do their job.
🩱 Wear proper swimwear.
Swimsuits designed for swimming are best. Street clothes, athletic shorts, and cut-off jeans can introduce dirt, detergents, fibers, and other contaminants into the water.
👶 Use swim diapers for children who are not fully toilet trained.
Swim diapers are specially designed for pool use and should fit snugly. Please remember that even swim diapers are not leak-proof, so frequent restroom and diaper checks are important.
🚻 Take regular restroom breaks.
Young children should be encouraged to use the restroom often to help prevent accidents.
🚫 Please don’t swim if you’re feeling sick.
Anyone experiencing diarrhea, vomiting, fever, or another contagious illness should wait until they are fully recovered before using the pool.
🍔 Keep food and drinks away from the pool water.
Enjoy snacks at the picnic tables or designated seating areas rather than in the water. Food, sugary beverages, and spills can affect water quality and attract insects.
🥤 No glass containers inside the pool enclosure.
Broken glass is a serious safety hazard and can require the pool to be closed until the area is thoroughly inspected.
🚮 Help keep the pool area clean.
Please dispose of trash properly and take all personal belongings with you when you leave.
🚪 Close and latch the gates behind you.
Keeping the gates secured helps protect the facility and everyone using it.
Did You Know?
Even a small amount of contamination can temporarily affect the pool’s water chemistry. In some cases, it may require additional chemical treatment or even a temporary pool closure while the water is rebalanced and sanitized. By following these simple guidelines, every resident helps reduce unnecessary maintenance, protects the equipment, and keeps the pool open for everyone to enjoy.
Thank You!
The Board appreciates everyone who helps care for our community amenities. Your cooperation and consideration for others make a real difference. Together, we can keep the Tamarack Shores community pool clean, safe, and ready for families to enjoy all season long.
