TAMARACK SHORES OWNERS ASSOCIATION
The Board of Directors of the Tamarack Shores Owners Association will hold a Special Open Board Meeting / Workshop for the purpose of reviewing the Association’s current governing documents, including the Bylaws, and discussing areas that may require amendment or modernization to align with current Texas law and operational best practices.
MEETING PURPOSE:
This workshop is intended to:
• Review portions of the current Bylaws and governance procedures
• Identify areas potentially inconsistent with current Texas Property Code Chapter 209 and related nonprofit governance requirements
• Receive member comments and feedback regarding proposed amendment concepts
• Provide direction for preparation of formal draft amendments
NO BYLAW AMENDMENTS WILL BE VOTED ON OR ADOPTED AT THIS MEETING.
This meeting is intended solely for discussion, review, and workshop purposes.

This meeting is open to Tamarack Shores property owners/members.
LEGAL AUTHORITY / NOTICE:
This Special Open Board Meeting / Workshop is being conducted pursuant to the Association’s governing authority and in accordance with applicable Texas open meeting requirements for property owners associations, including Texas Property Code Chapter 209, which generally requires board meetings to be open to members except for limited executive session matters.
Relevant authority includes:
• Texas Property Code §209.0051 (Open Board Meetings)
• Association Bylaws regarding Board governance and meeting authority
• Robert’s Rules of Order Revised, as adopted by the Association Bylaws
Owners are encouraged to attend, observe, and provide constructive input during designated comment periods.
