Hello Residents of Tamarack Shores, Memorial weekend is upon us and it is sure to be just as a hot weekend. The first thing people want to do when it gets this hot is take a dip in cool pool water or at beautiful Canyon Lake. The extreme heat has created challenges fighting algae and safe water qualify levels. Combine the heat with the small amount of rain we had this past week there is a higher than usual amount of algae in the pool water. The Pool Maintenance Team is working diligently to bring it up to safe levels so that residents who have purchased the pool access card may use the pool. The pool is tested regularly and today’s readings at 50% which was up from the previous reading of 20%. In order for it to be safe we must reach 87% or higher. The safety for our residents is our primary concern. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. Please continue to check the website for updates on the status.
The next piece of information is regarding issues that fall outside of the parameters of the Board of Directors. We are bound to adhere to Texas State laws, Deed Restrictions and Bylaws. Sometimes what may seem like a “simple fix” requires more than what the Board can do. It is important to understand that issues that are brought to our attention are taken seriously, reviewed and thoroughly researched to ensure that the appropriate measures are being taken. We encourage residents to review the Comal County Environmental Health at www.comalcounty.gov and review some of the issues that can be addressed. Cassie Massie is a great source of reference and will gladly review your situations and offer guidance on how to proceed.
And lastly “Save the Date” for September 21st, for the next monthly meeting that will be held at the Hill Country Bible Church at the corner of FM 306 and Tamarack Dr. We will meet at 7:00 pm. Some of the things we will discuss are “old business and new business,” updates on entrance project and National Night Out.
